Tell us about your town

Do you live in one of the 2011 World Cup centres? Here's how you can contribute to ESPNcricinfo.

As part of our coverage of the World Cup, we're putting together a section on the site for people coming to the subcontinent for the tournament. We're looking for experts on the ground - people who actually live in the cities that will host World Cup matches or are frequent visitors there - to tell ESPNcricinfo readers about what to look forward to and how to make the most of their visit.

We're looking for three kinds of contributions

Must dos:

Essential experiences you would recommend to visitors to the city. These could be a number of things: from a walk on a particular beach to a meal at a restaurant with a great view, or a visit to a shop that sells knick knacks at reasonable prices. If you think a visit to the city will be incomplete without it, we'd like to hear about it. 15-30 words per submission

Tips for travellers:

Insider information that will help a visitor during his time in the city. For instance: Things to say while bargaining in shops. A website where visitors can calculate distances and transport fares quickly. A particular stand in the stadium that's to be avoided because it usually gets a rough crowd. Seasonal food that's recommended and where to get it. Words and phrases in the local language that are useful to know... that sort of thing. 15-30 words per submission

Cricket experiences:

We're also looking for descriptions of your favourite cricket experiences in these cities. It doesn't have to be about a great match you've watched there. It could be about meeting a player at a hotel and getting his autograph; about a nets session you managed to get into; a visit to a former player's home which is now a museum... you get the picture. 40-250 words per submission
